ABOUT ME
Lindsay Butler, OT & Founder
I’m Lindsay (she/her), and I care deeply about making therapy accessible, practical, and meaningful for children and families. I provide services with a strong focus on helping kids build skills that support participation in everyday life - at home, at school, and in their communities.

I hold a Master of Occupational Therapy, an undergrad in psychology, and am registered with the College of Health and Care Providers of BC (CHCPBC). I have a decade of experience working as an OT in a variety of settings. Before becoming an OT, I worked with at-risk youth populations, individuals with developmental disabilities, and taught piano to children.
I believe in providing care that’s rooted in evidence, celebrates all abilities, and advocates for inclusion. Every child deserves to feel accepted and supported as they grow and learn, and I’m here to help make that happen.
I'm also a mother of two, which gives me a deeper understanding of the joys and complexities that come with raising children.
OUR APPROACH
At Leaps & Bounds, we provide individualized, family-centred occupational therapy that supports children of all abilities through meaningful, goal-directed intervention.

Therapy is offered in a dedicated, home-based studio designed to support focus, engagement, and skill development. Sessions use a combination of play, real-life tasks, and practical problem-solving to build functional skills that carry over into everyday routines at home, school, and in the community.
We also offer telehealth services to support families across BC. Our goal is to help children thrive by creating a positive, welcoming environment where they can reach their full potential.
